Custom line colours

Today I added a colour picker that allows you to change the colour of the route lines. The line colours do not get saved to a permalink, but will be remembered as a preference on your computer. Map view and satellite view will be remembered as separate values.

Thanks for all the great work at runningmap.com it is a big favorite here at The Running Room in Peterborough On.
Is there any way to have the line colours print behind the street names?
Can the little ‘dot’ that links the route segments together be a small ‘arrow’ that would double as a direction indicator?
Is there any way to auto-generate a written route, eg. Head west on Hunter 1.2 km, turn right on Park, etc. etc?
Keep up the good work, it is much appreciated.

Hey Steve. Thanks! Great ideas. The dot idea is very doable. Interpreting written instructions and bringing street names to the front are not as doable.
